Borderlands Hidden Basement

Alright Corpses, check this. If you have the quest "Another piece of the puzzle" active then you can access a hidden room in New Haven with two more gun cases in it. "Another piece of the puzzle" is the one where you kill the big rakk hive monster. IMPORTANT: You must NOT kill the rakk hive if want to access the hidden basement. Once you kill it you can no longer access the secret room. Here is a link detailing how the access the hidden basement in New Haven.

thanks for the tip. a few of us actually found it and went inside. it has a christmas story theme lol. the elevator drops faster than the floor could fall out beneath you so if your with a group try to step on it at the same time. if one person gets down first its quite a fight. hehe i had to try to get off the elevator quickly going back up and failed 5 times.

That's cool. I bet it was a little crazy getting all four down there at the same time. Did you find anything good?

unfortunately the weapons werent that cool but you still have to go down there and see the room theme. theres a red rider bb gun sniper rifle in one of the boxes and a severed human leg lamp on a table next to a christmas tree. hehe good times.

Yeah I kinda thought that the silver chest down there would be better but oh well. I lol'd at the explosive rider I found. Ran into 3 badmutha psychos on one run and did not lol. Too bad you can't get down there in PT2.5.
