Borderlands Help

So I thought we needed a help topic for this most excellent game that we're all enjoying right now, which just happens to be the buggiest mofo I've seen in years. Feel free to use this thread for any tips and tricks that you come across which might help. Your questions are welcomed also.

First, the all elusive port forwarding. I'm sure everyone knows by now that BL needs a bunch of ports forwarded in order to host games. Here is a short list as well as a link to portforward.com which has how-to's on MANY different models of routers.

TCP: 7777, 28900, 28902, 28910
UDP: 7777, 27900, 28902

Unverified: UDP: 6869 to host private games (Open at your own risk)

Also, the portchecker can be useful in testing if you have a real cantankerous router like me.
