Not that I'm one to brag but...

2 Sapphire HD 4870 1 gig DDR5 running in 16x Crossfire mode
AMD Phenom II X4 3.0ghz Quad-core Black Edition
8 gigs of 800 MHz Crucial Ballistix Tracer RAM
Asus M4A79 Deluxe motherboard
1 tera Western Digital SATA 3.0 7,200 rpm hard drive with 32 mb cache
24x Lite-On DVD Super Combo drive
750 watt Antec modular power supply
Antec 900 case
22" Asus widescreen monitor 2ms response time

After waiting 8 years to upgrade, I figured I owed it to myself. Maybe this box will last another 8 years. It should be just about paid off by then, lol.

TYVM Bro! Cool Unfortunately, I'm only running on 4 cylinders at the moment since one of the video cards had to be RMA'd. It failed only 10 days after being able to return it to Newegg for a swap. Now I have to wait 2-4 weeks for the factory warranty. Mad BS if ask me. I'm going to steer clear of Sapphire in the future. I know they're low end, but I just couldn't pass on the price. Same card with ASUS brand was $70 more. I guess I know now what that $70 buys, lol. All I can say is that they better get that shit back to me by the LAN. Suspect

Yeah I hate warranty work. Takes to damn long.

IMO... Nvidia all the way!

True, and I agree with you about Nvidia being better. I have owned a lot of both brands over the years, and while both have had issues, Nvidia seems to be more stable and a better performer. However, since I decided on an AMD platform with crossfire, based on price vs performance, I thought I'd give an ATI card another shot. Hopefully this will end well. pale

I hear ya. If I was to go with a AMD setup with cross fire I'd probably do the same. Now I do like the Diamond HD 4850 cards. The specs on those things look pretty damn amazing.

Hope you get your card soon!

Oh I was able to fix my mic problem. I did a bios update along with an audio update, and all is good now....I can speak!

Peace
